FOR TEACHERS, DEPARTMENTS & DISTRICTS

ANNOTATED CLASSICS FOR YOUR CLASSROOM

The complete original text, with definitions and explanations at the bottom of every page, written by a former English and history teacher.

Support right where students need it: definitions, context and guidance at the bottom of the page, the moment a question comes up.

Deeper, richer discussions, because students arrive having understood the reading on their own.

Notes with personality (and the occasional “Ha!”), so reading feels like a conversation with a teacher, not homework.

WHAT READERS SAY

IN THEIR OWN WORDS

“

A game-changer.

The annotations are a game-changer. I read Jane Eyre for AP Lit, and the annotations made me realize how much would’ve gone right over my head...I’d recommend it to everyone reading this classic.

It’s like Erica knows which words I need defined.

It’s like Erica knows which words I need defined and which references I would’ve missed...I 100% feel that reading the annotated edition improved my understanding and experience with The Great Gatsby!

A READER, ON The Great Gatsby

“

A lifesaver!

The annotations were a lifesaver! It allowed me to connect with the plot/characters so much better than if I had been given a regular text of Macbeth, as they kept me immersed in the story. I’ve never been more glad to have annotations on hand!

BEFORE YOU ORDER

QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

How long does a class set take to arrive?

About six weeks from order to your school. We plan every order with a two-week margin, so for books in class on a given date, order eight weeks ahead. The order planner does the math for you.

How much does a class set cost?

Tell us the title and how many students, and we'll send a per-copy classroom price with delivery included, so the number you see is the number you pay.

Is there a minimum or maximum order?

No minimum: order a single classroom set or books for a whole district. Large orders are welcome and ship in several shipments.

Can I see the book before we order?

Please do! Request a free teacher copy and we'll mail you the Vocabbett edition of the book you teach. Just use the Free Teacher Copy button → on the right.

I teach a college course. Can I use Vocabbett editions?

Absolutely! Every Vocabbett edition keeps the complete original text, so it works just as well in a college course as in a high school classroom. Request a free teacher copy, tell us your course and term, and we'll help you get the edition to your students.
